Welcome to Belsize Park Football Club, a football club dedicated to helping players reach their full potential, from grassroots all the way through to the professional game.

Based in the heart of North London, we provide a supportive and inclusive environment for players of all abilities, with teams ranging from U6 to U18. Our goal is to nurture and develop young footballers, helping them thrive both on and off the pitch.

Background

Belsize Park Football Club was founded by Alexi Mavroudis, who currently works as a Pre Academy Coach for one of the most prestigious academies in the world, Arsenal FC - a club renowned for creating some of England’s greatest young talents.

From schools, to grassroots, to academy level, Alexi has been teaching and coaching for over 10 years. As Head of Junior School Sports at a leading Prep School and a Pre-Academy Coach at Arsenal, Alexi's core principles have remained the same: "to reflect on my practice consistently, and to ensure I focus on each individual as not merely a footballer, but also a human being."

These principles have allowed Alexi and the Belsize team to foster safe environments where there is joy, where there is learning and where there is a sense of community amongst both players and staff.

The FA’s accreditation scheme celebrates grassroots clubs and leagues for their dedication and achievements in football.

In 2019, Belsize Park Football Club proudly earned the FA Charter Standard Award, recognising our commitment to being a well-run and sustainable club. This prestigious accreditation highlights our focus on safeguarding children, delivering high-quality coaching, and embracing the values of the FA’s Respect programme.
